Waterboss 365 is a water softening solution for larger families. Its 36400 grains capacity allows softening of the water in bigger amounts. The compact design of the unit will perfectly fit even tight places. Its other benefit is the fast regeneration process, which takes only 38 minutes with the chosen setting 6 pounds of salt. The advantage of this is water saving, as the longer regeneration uses more water. Per gallon Waterboss 365 softens 90 grains, reduces up to 10 ppm, and also filters dirt and sediment reducing to 20 nominal microns.
WaterBoss 700 Review
WaterBoss 700 units are designed to provide softened water for a whole house of medium sized families. WaterBoss 700 has the capacity to soften the water of up to 70 grains per gallon. It can also act as iron water filter, reducing up to 10 parts per million (ppm) of ferrous iron, sediment and filter dirt.
The unit features a self-cleaning filter that’s built-in and designed for whole house capacity. Also, having this filter, the water softener doesn’t require any cartridges for replacement.
The regeneration process uses only 16 gallons of water, and it takes only about 18 minutes for the process to finish. For each regeneration the water softener requires 2.5 pounds of salt.
WaterBoss 900 Review
WaterBoss 900 offers the capacity of 36,400 grains, which makes this unit of ideal size for usage by large families or if the water is really hard. It’s a high usage model that has the largest capacity among the WaterBoss water softeners. It can produce softened water of up to 90 grains per gallon.
The unit also functions as an iron water filter, reducing the amount of ferrous iron up to 10 ppm, also filtering dirt and sediment, providing more clean operation.
The unit maintains a consistent water flow, so you might experience little to no pressure drops when running any large appliances in your house or when taking a shower.
WaterBoss 900 comes in a high efficiency design that provides conserving salt and water. Regeneration in the high efficiency tank takes only a little longer than the previous WaterBoss model with 20 minutes timing. But for this process of regeneration it uses only 14 gallons of water. However, it uses more salt for each regeneration process. Each time it requires 3 pounds of salt.
For safe operation the system is equipped with an automatic shut-off system. An installed by the factory bypass extends the life of the filter. The controller for operation of the unit is user-friendly and easily programmable.
WaterBoss 950 Review
WaterBoss 950 water softener is more suitable for those living in a big city. It provides less capacity than the other two WaterBoss models. It offers 22,000 grains capacity and can remove and soften up to 35 grains per gallon. Along with softening the water, this unit reduces odors and chlorine taste. This is achieved as the mixed media bed can also function as a chlorine filter. Reducing the chlorine taste it also functions as the filter for drinking water, improving its quality.
This water softener can also be installed as a whole house system, providing softened water from any tap in the house.
Like in the model WaterBoss 700, this water softener also comes with a built-in whole house filter that has self-cleaning features. This filter eliminates the need for cartridge replacements.
The regeneration process of this unit takes around 19 minutes, around the same time as for the previous WaterBoss units. The process also uses 15 gallons of water and 2.5 pounds of salt.
